National Key R&D project on drought and wildfire risk warning for large power grids passes its mid-term review

A research task involving our team passed the mid-term review for projects launched in 2024 under the “Energy Storage and Smart Grid Technology” programme of China’s National Key R&D Programme. The review, organised by the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, assessed implementation progress and the outlook for completing the planned objectives. In the next stage, the team will strengthen collaboration with project partners, advance key technology research and validation, consolidate interim results, and organise subsequent research to deliver the planned tasks on schedule.
