Successful field demonstration in Guangxi

From 15 to 21 September 2026, the first-generation API satellite terminal supported emergency power assurance for the China–ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi, using space-based IoT communication. During the event, the terminal worked with China Southern Power Grid’s award-winning smart miniature sensors to provide a satellite backup channel for monitoring critical electrical loads, maintaining visibility of their power use under extreme conditions. The API terminal and its information platform supported operations at the Nanning Power Supply Bureau’s command centre. The terminal was also exhibited at China Southern Power Grid’s booth at the Expo.
