Laboratory paper on satellite-enabled modern power systems published in Automation of Electric Power Systems

The paper “Innovative Applications of Satellite Internet for Modern Power Systems”, by Professor Quan Zhou with Ke Zhou, Qingren Jin and Professor Zhikang Shuai, was published in Automation of Electric Power Systems, volume 48, issue 6, in 2024.

The paper examines representative applications, key technologies and security models, outlining a path toward space–air–ground power information infrastructure with integrated communication, navigation and remote sensing. Following publication, it attracted academic and industry interest and received more than ten citations.

The work was supported by the National Key R&D Program of China (2023YFC3321703) and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (52125705).
